Best hookah, I have been all over the country and tried lots of hookah spots. Hands down the best hookah.

Can't ask for a better hookah spot! This place is amazing and the owners are the best. The layout is amazing, view is great and it's not loud. I like this lounge and frequent it a few times a week. Fully stocked with some of the best beverages(non alcoholic of course) BYOB if you want something extra. The crowd is super cool and I honestly couldn't ask for a better spot to do some work, chill, and listen to some great music. Get hungry??? You're right in walking distance of all the food places on Westport. Stop by and enjoy a few hours in this place, you won't be disappointed

Westport Hookah Lounge is a radiant diamond in a city loaded with gemstones waiting to be discovered. What makes WHL this girl's best friend? It is all in the atmosphere. To say this lounge has ambience is a gross understatement. Full disclosure: I had a one-and-done hookah bar exposure in Philly back in 2013. I wasn't blown away. No pun intended. Hookah bars just fell off my radar afterwards. Until I stepped foot over the threshold at 317 Westport Road a few months back. I needed a place where I could "smoke my drinks," but now that I'm in my mid-40s, the bar scene is a bit too fist-pump for me these days. Like, no shit, I just wanted a chill place to smoke, chill, maybe color and stuff, and chill. And be around people, but still be in my bubble. And chain-drain a bunch of Coke, sip -- not the sniff. And watch YouTube and talk trash on various social media platforms. So I googled "hookah bars." The rest is history or whatever. And while I'm a complete Level 33 Basic-Bitch when it comes to hookah, I did develop a life-threatening, intractable addiction for cafés while living in Europe. I dare you to go to a café anywhere in Italy and not walk away feeling fuckin hardcore bougie-spoiled for life. Which might beg the question: What makes a good café? [A word of caution. This is just my humble opinión. Your mileage will ALWAYS vary] --A considerate staff who greet patrons warmly and graciously; --Impeccable service that never feels intrusive; --The place is immaculate. You could eat off the floors. the bathroom floors, too. I have. Chef's kiss. I also eat crayons and paste from time to time, so take my suggestion with a grain of salt; --Plentiful and comfortable seating, which I appreciate. Now that I'm a 20-year olds version of old, NGL, if I inhale too sharply I'm liable to slip a disc. Yeah, comfy seating will never hurt my feelings. Ever. Or my ass cheeks. What's left of them thanks to gravity. --The prices are exceptionally reasonable, and the staff allow me to use personal devices/products. I kind of wish the owner would charge a flat rate for people who bring their own vapes/products, etc. I think the price of a Starbucks latte would be an incredibly fair price point for people like me. Nonetheless, I am incredibly grateful for the owner's generosity; --Great mix of people of all types. It never really gets loud, but the vibe is always pleasant, and the lounge often feels comfortably festive. --And magical events like last night: a breathtaking belly-dance performance by Luxie Zahraa. The pictures speak for themselves so that I can finally shut the fuck up. Just my 2-cents from the peanut gallery. But don't take my word for it. Go experience WHL for yourself. Enjoy the old world charm and ambience lounge for yourself. I plan on doing just that as long as I'm in KC.

This place is great, and the owner is amazing. I go several times a week and this is the only hookah place in KC I'll go to.

My wife and I have hookah sets at home but we still like to occasionally get out and go to places with hookah. This was our first experience at Westport Hookah Lounge and we were not disappointed. Flavors and pricing was great, the atmosphere was calm and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a place to relax and enjoy some hookah.

This is an incredibly hospitable establishment! The owner seated and served us directly - hookah is very affordable and maybe I just never realized before - tried the house fruit flavor and it was delicious! Had two cups of tea and 1 hookah split 2 ways for a solid 2 hours of laid back catch up time - very grateful for such a great experience

Great service and amazing hookah. One of my favorite hookah lounges in kansas city. If you want an amazing different hookah try the heavenly fruits in the babylon Iraqi hookah,it's the best. Recommendation: Add smoothie and more drinks to the menu.

A huge thanks to Mustafa and the crew @ Babylon Hookah for making our group's get-together a total blast! They accomodated 18 of us on a warm Friday evening, ensuring our coals were always hot, our drinks delicious, and the atmosphere entertaining! This is a great location for a hookah lounge, just across the corner from the main area of Westport - perfect walking distance to wander over to the food trucks and other local drinking and eating establishments after a couple of hours of relaxing hookah. The space is open and well laid out, and we enjoyed the entire evening of socializing thanks to the efficient and observant staff. They took the time to explain the different types of shisha, the coal techniques, and how to have the best experience to some of our less-experienced members. Thanks again everyone at Babylon Hookah, we'll be back!
